Somalia: The situation of Luq district in Gado region is fine today after inter-clan clash yesterday.

The situation of Luq district is this morning reported to be relatively calm after a dreadful clash between two clans living together in the district.

Four people are report dead and six others seriously wounded in the combat between the two tribes.

"This battle is based on early vendetta between the two cohabit tribes in the district, and it is possible that it can start any moment since the battling men are still in ambushing action" said Hassan Gedi Elmi a resident in the district.

On the other hand a spokesman of the senators in district said that the elders are immensely involved in subsiding the hostility between the two tribes.

Ethiopian troops stationed in the district were over viewing the two warring sides.
