Somalia: Acting provincial commissioner of middle Shabelle region in southern Somalia says the situation of Jowhar district is superb.

The acting regional commissioner of middle Shabelle region in southern Somali Hajji Takow has said that the situation of Jowhar district is pretty terrific.

Mr. Takow also added that the arrival of Ethiopian troops in Somalia was in one voice approved by the Somali parliament.

"The Ethiopian troops are here in the country to help the Somali people, and they do reach at wherever there is instability," said Hajji Takow.

The acting regional commissioner also added that it is null and void that the deputy security commander Mr.

Ahmed Omar Habeb (Janday) is wounded and is now in Baidoa town some 250km west of the Somali capital Mogadishu for duty.

The regional commissioner of middle Shabelle was called in the capital Mogadishu to have talks with the head of the country and the Somali premier.
