Somali:Burundian troops base in Somalia and a Somali police station attacked overnight.

Armed group raided Burundian military garrison in the Somali capital Mogadishu overnight, both sides exchanged heavy weapons of different types.

This attack would be the second attack at the Burundian military barrack in the capital Mogadishu, both the warring parts did not say their losses, the AMISOM forces spokesman on the ground said he won’t give out any comments about the losses on their side.

Likewise there was attack carried on a local police station at Darkenley district in the Somali capital Mogadishu, and so far the district police commander did not give comment regarding the attack to the station.

“This battle has not caused any damage to the Somali government soldiers, but the attackers have gained losses” the district Commissoner of Darkenly district Moalim Abdulle Ali said speaking to Waagacusub Online.

“The soldiers are always vigilant and keep the security of the district and the locations that under come, and they are ready to respond to any provocation,” said DC Moalim Abdulle Ali.
