Somali president's honeymoon is over after failed promises, and lies, observers
His call for the formation of strong national army is not possible either economically or by because of his selection of faulty officials to the highest military command.
Other discouraging issue is about the president and his use of corruption cash during election that enabled him to buy votes.
The cash flow of Farmajo was mainly from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Somali and foreign individuals who exchanged for political favors.
Farmajo is the second who paid the largest corruption money during the election.
Hassan Shekh Mohamud, the former president, was the number one to exercise that menace of buying votes while second was Farmajo and Omar Abdirashid Sharmarke was the 3rd.
Others candidates also paid small cash at least to get few votes.
"How can a corrupt leader fight corruption, Farmajo represent the modern corruption style," said Yahye Ibrahim.
"Just he will continue to remain corrupt until his last day in power," said Yahye.
Farmajo also promised to pay the salary for the armed forces and other government employees which is yet to be fulfilled.
But the move is just an exploitation of the emotions of the unsuspecting poor Somali people who were crying for a government that will overcome their unfortunate situation.
Another major setback to Farmajo is also his relation with major clans in which he promised political position as power sharing.
But he abandoned those promises after he came to power.
Those clans are now waiting to see how he can implement his plan if there is any at all.
The Somali president was working in US as car parking area deputy manager but was selected PM by President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed who later regretted and sacked him because of his incompetency.
Farmajo selected government officials mainly people with less experience and low credibility
The selection criteria is that they have to be loyal to Farmajo and must have clan or marriage association with him or his family members.
"He is not interested for what the officials can do for Somalia but his appointment only merits those who appreciate his regime," Maryan Abdullahi who is in Mogadishu said.
"Most of his nomination are to pick recycled politician who either failed to serve the nation or lacked the capacity to fulfill their mandates,"
Reports by Mohamed Hassan From Mogadishu.
