Zimbabwe's president Mnangagwa survives assassination attempt at rally in Harare
A rally attended by the president Emmerson Mnangagwa in Harare, was rocked by an explosion as the president walked off the podium.
A ZANU PF official tweeted a video clip that he says captured the explosion.Nick Mangwana, the chairman of ZANU-PF in the United Kingdom says some of the injured include the home affairs minister, Dr. Mpofu, Dr. Rugeje, Mai Chinomona and Mrs Chiwenga among other dignitaries.
Mangwana says the president is safe.
