The project was implemented in cooperation with the Erchad Association for Cooperation and Development, the RAF partner in Ethiopia, which conducted a field study in most needy areas and identified beneficiary families before the beginning the distribution process, taking into account families with no breadwinners, orphans, persons with special needs, the elderly and the sick.
The assistance was provided within RAF's humanitarian efforts to help and rescue Ethiopians in drought-affected areas, whose number exceeds 6 million. It also came in response to the humanitarian appeal made by the Ethiopian government to humanitarian institutions to quickly rescue those affected by a humanitarian disaster.
