President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud's 'peace train' heads to Dhusamareb

Baidoa (WAAGACUSUB ) - Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud concluded his visit to the South West State on Thursday and headed to Galmudug's regional capital Dhusamareb, 510km north of Mogadishu.

Baidoa (WAAGACUSUB ) - Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud concluded his visit to the South West State on Thursday and headed to Galmudug's regional capital Dhusamareb, 510km north of Mogadishu. A delegation of lawmakers landed in Dhusamareb, where security has been tightened, to lay the groundwork for the President's reception.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has described his visit as part of a "peace train" his administration is leading to foster peace and reconciliation between Somalis ahead of his presidential inauguration next week.

Mohamud is expected to hold meetings with the Galmudug administration and various sections of the society.
